Some little boys are boys and other little boys are balls of energy disguised as boys. I never though I would have purchased this item for my not yet two year old son. Then I thought, what a great 2 year birthday present. Then, I realized it was either let him crack his skull open by jumping off the couch, listen to him cry because he wouldn't be allowed on the couch, or buy a trampoline.
Originally, my husband and I planned on buying the AirZone 55 inch trampoline & enclosure because it was the lowest cost on Amazon and we would get free shipping. One night, we ended up at a K-mart on a Friday night knowing that we were going to need something for the weekend. We ended up with the Stats brand trampoline. I am very glad that we did! The springs were challenging to put on, but VERY sturdy. The opening on the AirZone is a zipper which I would imagine is more secure than the Stats trampoline. The Stats has a clip in the center and some velcro at the bottom. It sounds terrible, but I know now that if we had the zipper enclosure, my son would scream every time he wanted in or out because he doesn't know how to work a zipper. A four or five year old might stay in this trampoline for an extended period of time, but my son does not have the attention span and likes to get in and out himself, so velcro it is!

I think he likes it!
Disclaimer: I believe the recommended age for both of these trampolines is ages 3-6. We felt the safety of our child would be better in the trampoline than on the couch even if he did not meet the manufacturer recommendations.
